iPhone 5 Maps Problem: Apple iPhone 6 coming with enhanced Maps technology?

Apple is gearing up to bring iPhone 6 with a trouble free Maps Technology for better localization.

The Apple maps was a major problem at the launch of iPhone 5 causing a uproar throughout the world regarding the flagship smartphone.
The fiasco even led the smartphone maker to tender an apology over the inconvenience Apple fans had to experience. After the technical problems, iPhone 5 had to rely on Google Maps, a location based service from the rival tech giant.
A report has emerged that Apple has bought a location-based services firm WiFiSlam at a hefty amount of $ 20 million to bring the mapping technology inside the company.
According to the Patently Apple, the main product of the company lets a user to know the location of its smartphone with a 2.5m accuracy.
“Allow your smartphone to pinpoint its location (and the location of your friends) in real-time to 2.5m accuracy using only ambient WiFi signals that are already present in buildings,” the report quoted official description of the product.
The product from WiFiSlam, a start-up from an ex-Googler, is especially beneficial to find out devices in shopping malls, railway stations, and enterprise offices.
So your iPhone 6 is hopefully a trouble-free device when it comes to mapping at least.
